Private Lacrosse Coaching in London

Individual and Small Group Coaching for All Ages

I’m based in Wandsworth, with regular sessions at Spencer Lacrosse Club, Battersea Park and nearby locations. Coaching across other areas of London can be arranged where possible.

Choose the option that feels right for your child. If you’re unsure, I’m always happy to help you decide.

Coaching Options

  • Personalised private sessions focused on individual development. Each session is tailored to the player’s needs, position and stage of development, helping build confidence, clarity and strong fundamentals.

  • High-quality coaching delivered in small groups, often made up of friends who want to train together. Sessions are competitive but supportive, with a strong emphasis on decision-making, communication and realistic game scenarios.

  • Detailed breakdown of match or training footage to improve lacrosse IQ, tactical awareness and decision-making. Analysis can be based on the player’s own games or training, as well as professional or college footage where helpful.

  • Age-appropriate strength and conditioning guidance to support athletic development, reduce injury risk and build confidence in movement. Always delivered alongside lacrosse performance, not instead of it.

FAQs

Do you coach both girls and boys?

1

Yes. I work with both girls and boys, tailoring sessions to the player’s age, experience, and stage of development. Coaching is always adapted to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Where do coaching sessions take place?

2

Sessions usually take place at suitable pitches in and around London, including club facilities and public spaces where appropriate. Exact locations are agreed once availability and logistics are discussed.

What do private coaching sessions focus on?

3

Sessions focus on technical skill development, game understanding, decision-making and confidence. The aim is to help players understand why they are doing things, not just repeat drills.

How long are coaching sessions?

Most sessions last between 60 and 120 minutes, depending on the player’s age, attention span and goals. This is discussed in advance to ensure sessions are productive and appropriate.

How is private coaching different from school/club training?

5

Private coaching allows for individual feedback, targeted skill work and clearer explanations than are usually possible in team sessions. It is designed to complement school/club training, not replace it.
